Siddha & Siddha Varmam Therapy

Siddha & Siddha Varmam Therapy

What is Siddha?

The term "Siddha" finds its roots in the Tamil word "Chittar," signifying consciousness. It represents a state where individuals are fully established in Self, in harmony with the Universe, and in unity with Existence, enabling them to live and express their highest potential.

The Siddha Tradition is pre-vedic and predates well-known paths like Ayurveda, Buddhism, Yoga, Vedanta, Hermetics, and Native American practices etc., emerging more than 14,000 years ago. Originating in Tamil Nadu, South India, it's an extensive system encompassing Siddha Varmam, Siddha Medicine, Siddha Alchemy, and Siddha Yoga, created by the highly accomplished Siddhas, who were both scientists, alchemists and spiritual sages. The different Siddha lineages employ unique healing methods that influence the body, mind, and spirit. Among them, are Siddha Varmam Therapy and Pancha Prana Nadai (PPN), with subcategories and spiritual dimensions. It can address diseases at their root, even at the genetic level.

What is Siddha Varmam Therapy and Pancha Prana Nadai?

Varmams represent vital energy points (psychophysical) within the human body, playing a pivotal role in our overall well-being by harmonizing and integrating  the subtle and physical aspects of our being. These points are interconnected and therapeutically employed to promote healing and rejuvenation for the body, mind and spirit (soul). Siddha Varmam, a holistic journey in itself, views the entire body as an intricate energy network, employing various pressure techniques and directional flows tailored to individual needs.

Siddha Varmam treats a wide range of issues, including stress, unresolved emotions, trauma, physical injuries, imbalanced lifestyles, and toxin accumulation, all of which disrupt our natural vital energy flow, resulting in stagnation and ultimately, disease. Through Siddha Varmam Therapy, we restore this natural flow by releasing physical and psychological blockages that have accumulated in our lives, often extending to ancestral influences. This therapy possesses the potential to address the root causes, reconnecting us to the original memory of health and well-being, reigniting our innate capacity for self-healing.

I have successfully helped people with the following imbalances applying Siddha Varmam Therapy:

  • Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, ADHD

  • Digestive Disorders: IBS, Fatty liver, Allergies

  • Adrenal Fatigue

  • Arthritis, Knee Pain, Back Pain, Cervical and Shoulder Pain

  • Gynecological Issues: Fibroids, Cysts, Menstrual disorders, Menopause, Endometriosis

  • UTI (Urinary Tract Infections)

  • Breathing difficulties, colds, sinus issues

  • Headaches and Migraines

  • Thyroid Imbalances

Pancha Prana Nadai (PPN) is a healing practice focused on igniting and harmonizing the five major vital airs within the body. These Vital Energies oversee all physical functions and actions while exerting influence on our physical, emotional, and mental health and well-being. In instances of illness, whether it manifests as a physical ailment or a mental condition, one or more of these interconnected vital airs will be imbalanced. By restoring equilibrium to the vital airs through Pancha Prana Nadai treatment, health will improve on multiple levels. PPN activates the parasympathetic state, inducing profound relaxation in both the nervous system and the body, facilitating the flourishing of homeostasis. This therapy is especially supportive for acute and chronic diseases, as well as various bodily patterns and neurological pathways. Examples of conditions that can benefit from PPN include high blood pressure, insomnia, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism, among others.

It is said that the ancient art of Siddha Varmam should exclusively be learned under the guidance of an authentic and skilled Siddha Varmam Master to safeguard the integrity of this healing practice and its lineage. I have been fortunate to receive instruction from my teacher, the accomplished Siddha Healer Pal Pandian, from the AgaGuru lineage in Tamil Nadu, South India. Pal Pandian has dedicated his life to Siddha healing, and I am honored to share this powerful healing tradition under his blessings and ongoing mentorship.
